Me in a Nutshell

I hold a PhD in Computing from Imperial College London, supervised by Dr. Sergio Maffeis. My research focuses on making deep learning–based Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) reliable under distribution shift and adversarial data conditions. In particular, I work on:

• Adaptive one-class anomaly detection to handle evolving normal (benign) network behavior.
• Continual multi-class intrusion detection to incorporate new attack types as they emerge over time.
• Robust learning under label noise, including resilience to label-flipping attacks.
• Agentic AI for security, integrating agents into security pipelines to automate analysis and improve decision-making.

By adaptation, I mean detecting change and updating models with minimal labeling and operational cost.
